What Is an EKG?

An EKG (also called ECG) is a test that records the electrical signals of your heart through small electrode patches placed on your chest, arms, and legs. It helps identify abnormal heart rhythms, blockages, or structural issues with the heart.

Why Might You Need an EKG?
